ATVA supports open discussion of antiquated video rules
Washington D.C. May 9, 2013 – The American Television Alliance (ATVA) applauds Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for recognizing the real and growing problem of outdated video regulations and for offering a creative solution today. Sen. McCain showed great leadership during his time as chair of the Senate Commerce Committee and his bill – the Television Consumer Freedom Act of 2013 – is sure to generate further discussion and debate, which will benefit the many consumers around the country who are crying out for reform.
